The ICTC continues to follow the Governor’s Wolf’s mandate for school closures. According to the last update, all schools in the Commonwealth will remain closed indefinitely as a response to the COVID-19 mitigation efforts. ICTC has posted it’s Continuity of Education Plan in an effort to inform students and parents about our current plan of instruction.
The ICTC will continue to monitor this situation closely. We are working with sending school Districts, the ARIN IU28, post-secondary institutions and industry certification providers to assist us in offering meaningful educational opportunities to keep our students engaged in the educational process.
The Indiana County Technology Center is a regional technology center dedicated to providing students in grades 10, 11, and 12 with industry-certified technical and academic-enriched career programs. The Indiana County Technology Center (ICTC) is considered a part-time career and technology center because academic instruction in the core content areas occurs at the students’ sending district for half of the day while ICTC provides instruction in the technical/career areas the remainder of the day. The school provides state-of-the-art equipment within a safe environment. Through integrated technical and academic curricula, students learn theory and skills providing pathways to post-secondary education and/or employment in high growth and high-demand careers.
If you have questions regarding the Indiana County Technology Center’s policies, please contact our district office.
