Accordingly, the following information must appear in a format and location that is easily accessible to the public 30 days after the date when the institution received its allocation under 18004(a)(1) and updated every 45 days thereafter:

  1.  An acknowledgement that the institution signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.

    2. CARES #1 was received in Indiana County Technology Center’s G5 account on 5/12/2020 (P425E204180).
  3. The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of submission (i.e., as of the 30-day Report and every 45 days thereafter). Indiana County Technology Center has distributed

      1. Students received an email with details on the CARES #1.
      2. Based on enrollment as of April 28, 2020, (54 students) a student is eligible to receive $203.00 per checked statement on the student application. If all 6 statements are checked, a student is eligible to receive $1,218.00
      3. Students can complete the application one time.
      4. Emergency Financial Aid Grants will be awarded by paper check and mailed to the student’s address listed on the signed application within 30 days from the application due date by Indiana County Technology Center.
      5. The calculation method used to determine grants for eligible students: $65,749 (minimum allocation to be awarded for emergency financial aid grants to students)/54(enrolled students as of April 28, 2020) = $1,217.57, rounded up to $1,218.00

$1,218.00/6 statements on application= $203.00 per checked statement.

*Any remaining funds from the allocation to be awarded to students will be equally disbursed among all students who submit a Student Application for Emergency Aid.

Hello,

The U.S Department of Education has made available Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students of our institution who need financial support for their expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to Coronavirus. The attached application is how you the student will apply for these need-based grants. Indiana County Technology Center administration will use the information you provide on the application to determine your eligibility for a grant and the amount for which you will eligible. Each student will be eligible to complete one application. Please fill out the application neatly and completely and provide it to the Adult Education & Financial Aid Coordinator, Kayla Fuller by email at kfuller@ictc.edu or mail to 441 Hamill Road Indiana, PA 15701 by June 15, 2020. Only enrolled students who are in good standing and Title IV eligible will be eligible to receive a grant.

Any money awarded from this grant is to be used for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus. These expenses include eligible expenses under a student’s cost of attendance in the calculation of Federal Financial Aid, such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child care.
