ICTC Students and Families:
As we enter the month of May, the ICTC is preparing for final delivery of instructional materials. As part of ICTC’s Continuation of Education Plan, all assignments and participation in program area work and activities will be graded as well as credited toward Program of Study completion and program area certifications where applicable.
Starting May 1, all students will receive a grade and credit for the fourth nine week grading period based upon completion and participation in assigned activities of their program area. This grade will be averaged into their final grade for the instructional year. ICTC instructors will use a three tiered grading system:
Advanced: Students completing and participating in 85% – 100% of assignments and activities.
Proficient: Students completing and participating in 50%- 84% of assignments and activities
Basic: Students lacking completion of assignments and activities.
We want to assure that all students have the opportunity to participate and achieve to the best of their abilities. Please contact your program area instructor, Mr. Worthington, ICTC Principal or Mrs. Fox, ICTC Guidance Counselor if you have questions regarding ICTC’s Continuation of Education Plan.
