Administrative Assistant to the Director/Board Secretary
An employee in this position will perform confidential secretarial/clerical duties for the Indiana County Technology Center: Joint Operating Committee; Professional Advisory Committee; and the Administrative Director. The employee is responsible for responding to inquiries, directing and screening calls, and providing administrative support. This position involves a high degree of professional judgment, use of independent discretion and has daily involvement with confidential matters.
Qualifications: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in business, secretarial science. OR Specialized training, certificate or degree in Secretarial Arts/Office Management is desirable, although extensive experience may be sufficient
Full-time Business Office Assistant / Payroll Clerk:
An employee in this position is responsible for varied and specialized clerical duties, including moderately complex work methods which require the application of independent judgment and the interpretation of policies and regulations on a daily basis. The position requires light to medium physical effort and requires the ability to work under stressful situations.
Preferred Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in maintaining general accounting systems. Computer skills in word processing and database are mandatory.
Collision Repair Instructor:
Opening for the 2022-2023 teacher contract year. Full-time position working with grades 10-12. Salary and benefits are contractual based on education and years of service.
Minimum Qualification: 4 years of verifiable work experience in the trade field, previous teaching experience preferred but not required. Ability to deliver instruction to high school aged students using the PDE approved Duty and Task Sheet for CIP 46.0101. PA vocational instructional certificate or willingness to pursue coursework toward PA teacher certification and professional development activities to enhance the program as well as self. Willingness to pursue and maintain industry recognized credentials and/or certification including participation in technical seminars, workshops, and classes related to the occupation.
