Joint Operating Committee

The authority to establish, equip, furnish, operate and maintain the Indiana County Technology Center is vested in the Joint Board, which consists of all school directors of the participating school districts. Actions of the Joint Board shall be voted upon and recorded in accordance of the law. 

 

The Joint Operating Committee shall consist of seven (7) members, with at least one (1) member from each participating school district. Each member of the Joint Operating Committee so elected shall serve for a three-year term commencing on the day of his/her election in December. 

 

The administration of the Technology Center shall be delegated to the Administrative Director and the Chief School Administrator. The Chief School Administrator shall be one (1) of the Superintendents of the participating school districts.

 

JOC meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month except in November and December when the meeting is held on the third Tuesday. No meeting is scheduled in July. The meetings will be held in the conference room at the Indiana County Technology Center.
