Dear Parent/Guardian,
While there has been no confirmed cases of 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Indiana County, we at the Indiana County Technology Center are aware of the concerns of the community about the spread of this new virus.
The Indiana County Technology Center is monitoring the situation and guidance from the Centers for disease Control (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health (PADOH), Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and local health departments.
The Indiana County Technology Center has instituted the following preventative measures to help minimize the spread of viruses. Our maintenance staff will be cleaning and disinfecting daily our classrooms, doorknobs, and offices to help prevent the spread of any infectious disease.
While there are currently no vaccines available to protect against this virus. We are suggesting our students and staff practice everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of infectious disease, including:
Our staff will remain vigilant throughout this process and take proactive measures to help prevent the spread of this disease. If you feel your son/daughter is exhibiting any signs of COVID-19, please keep your child home from school and immediately contact your physician.
