Earlier today, a number of calls were made to schools in Cambria, Center, and Blair Counties. They are believed to be computer-generated swatting calls alleging active shooter situations and concerns. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating and at the present time, have no credible evidence to support a viable threat to school districts. However, law enforcement remains aware and alert to the developing situation.
We are actively monitoring the situation and communicating with local schools and law enforcement agencies. If the need to elevate our security level to a Secure, Hold and Secure, or Lockdown arises, you will be notified promptly. Otherwise we will continue with normal operations
