Job Description: 

The Indiana County Technology Center (ICTC) is a high-performing Career and Technical school located in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, serving approximately 600 high school students as well as Adult Education programming.  The Indiana County Technology Center is seeking an Administrative Director to provide visionary leadership for high-quality programming that meets the needs of students and prospective employers. The Administrative Director will oversee secondary education programs as well as adult education programs and lead the development, coordination, and implementation of Career and Technical Education (CTE) curricula and instructional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide visionary leadership for secondary and adult education programs, ensuring high-quality, relevant CTE instruction aligned with Pennsylvania Programs of Study (POS).
  • Lead curriculum development, coordination, and evaluation to meet student needs and employer demands.
  • Manage comprehensive school operations, including budget development and oversight, business functions, grant writing and administration, and compliance with all state and federal reporting requirements (including child accounting).
  • Oversee school-wide safety and security operations.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff, and serve as a resource to the Joint Operating Committee (JOC) during contract negotiations.
  • Develop and implement a long-range strategic plan supported by workforce data, student and district input, and sustainable fiscal practices.
  • Lead program marketing, recruitment, and development while building strong partnerships with sending districts, community organizations, and external agencies.
  • Oversee capital projects and facility operations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Career and Technical Education (CTE) Administrative Director Certification
  • Master's Degree in a job-related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum design, implementation, supervision, and evaluation in career and technical education
  • Comprehensive understanding of Pennsylvania CTE Programs of Study (POS)
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience in career and technical education
  • Proven ability to use data-driven decision making, including analysis of program performance metrics and continuous improvement strategies
  • Experience with grant writing, budget management, facility operations, and labor negotiations
  • Demonstrated success in building productive relationships with school districts, staff, parents, students, and community partners
