Joint Emergency Medical Response Training Exercise at Indiana County Technology Center and Indiana Regional Medical Center
Indiana, PA – On Tuesday, April 28, Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC), in conjunction with the Indiana County Technology Center (ICTC), Citizens’ Ambulance Service, and the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), will conduct a joint emergency medical response training exercise.
Please be advised that the IRMC Emergency Department will be fully operational and will remain open for medical emergencies during this training exercise.
The purpose of this exercise is to provide an opportunity for participating agencies to practice and refine their skills and response to a medical emergency involving a simulated accident at the ICTC involving multiple patient transports to IRMC.
This exercise will also allow participating agencies to complete their regulatory and trauma-related accreditation(s).
Visitors to the ICTC and the IRMC main campus may observe training activity in the area of each facility; however, access to and parking at the IRMC main campus will not be affected. Visitors to the ICTC will be required to sign in at the main office.
As always, visitors to IRMC may call 724-357-7000 or visit the Information Desk located within the IRMC Main Entrance with questions pertaining to their visit.
