Join us On February 2nd from 6-7:30 for Career Night at ICTC!

Mark your calendars! The Indiana County Technology Center (ICTC) will host “CAREER NIGHT” on February 2, 2017 from 6:00-7:30pm for both Secondary and Adult Education programs. This annual event is open to the community. This year’s theme for the ICTC Career Night is “Everyday Heroes.”

Attendees of the Career Night event can expect to learn more about the program offerings of the ICTC and the benefits of a Career and Technical Education. The ICTC Career Night is an opportunity for prospective students and parents to learn about their program of interest in more detail. Program instructors and industry representatives will be on hand to answer any questions. In addition, several Post-Secondary school representatives such as IUP, Penn Highlands, and WCCC, will be available to discuss associate and bachelor degree programs, which can be pursued by ICTC students.

ICTC’s Adult Education representatives will be available to discuss options about educational programs available to the adult learner. Students who choose to apply for enrollment into an ICTC Adult program that evening will receive a $30.00 application fee waiver. A Financial Aid representative will be available to discuss helpful tips to gain entry. There is no better time than now to begin a career in the skilled trades.

Career and Technical Education is an academically rigorous alternative that prepares students for successful careers in a variety of high pay, high-demand jobs. Career and Technical education prepares students to be college and career-ready, offering industry certifications, dual enrollment opportunities, and real world cooperative education training.

Prospective and current students, parents, and members of our community are welcome to join us for “Career Night” on Thursday, February 2nd from 6:00-7:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served. A live broadcast with our friends from Renda Broadcasting will be heard on Cat Country (106.3) and U-92 (92.5); come spin the prize wheel and enjoy an evening at the ICTC.
