This innovative nursing program provides the student with the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary to secure an entry level position in practical nursing. In addition, the graduate will earn twelve college credits through Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. These college credits are transferable should the graduate decide to pursue a RN degree
Upon completion of the program, the graduate will receive a diploma and will be eligible to take the Practical Nursing Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN).

The full-time program is offered over a 52-week calendar year. This includes four – 12 week terms which houses 700 hours of theory/classroom and 850 hours of clinical/virtual experience for a total of 1550 hours. Each year, the program begins in August and graduates the following July.
The part-time program is location in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and offers a 64-week program of study over approximately 16 calendar months. This includes four – 16 week terms which houses 700 hours of theory/classroom and 850 hours of clinical/virtual experience for a total of 1550 hours. Each year, the program begins in August and graduates the following November.
